چکیده
Waste production is increasing every day as a consequence of human activities; thus, its valorization becoming more important. For this purpose, the usage wastes biofuels one most important aspects sustainable strategies. This case main waste generated in brewing industries: brewers’ spent grain (BSG). In sector, microbreweries are not able to properly manage that they generate due lack space. Consequently, transformation BSG high-quality biofuel might be an interesting option for kind small industry. work, we carried out physical-energy characterization BSG, well pellets from waste. The initial showed slightly unfavorable results concerning N and ash, with values 3.76% 3.37% db, respectively. Nevertheless, physical was very good, acceptable bulk density (662.96 kg·m?3 wb) low heating value (LHV; 17.65 MJ·kg?1 wb), among others. situation favorable any intended uses (for energy use or animal feed, others).

Second Generation Ethanol Production from Brewers’ Spent Grain
Ethanol production from lignocellulosic biomasses raises a global interest because it represents a good alternative to petroleum-derived energies and reduces the food versus fuel conflict generated by first generation ethanol. In this study, alkaline-acid pretreated brewers’ spent grain (BSG) was evaluated for ethanol production after enzymatic hydrolysis with commercial enzymes. The obtained h...

This paper presents a comprehensive theoretical, experimental, and economic study on the application of nanofluids as heat transfer fluid in waste heat recovery systems. The research work was conducted in a steel-making complex in which a plate heat exchanger had been used to recover heat from hot process water. The system was theoretically modelled and the effects of using nanofluids as he...

15 صفحه اولsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
